The film takes on a journey through the love story of Ram (Dhanush) and Janani (Shruthi) who are 12th standard students and eventually falls in love with each other. As they grow up, so does their affinity for each other, and despite opposition from the elders, they tie the knot. When they start a fresh life, problems start to grow up. Apart from the usual misunderstanding difficulties that newly-married couples would face, this is of a different kind.
Ggood movie, great performance from Danush and Shruti. Where as the storyline is concerned there is a large gap between the frist and the secon half of the movie.

This is the first review I am writing, and I wanted to write about this film because it truly impressed me. Here it goes. Finally, the movie which has created much hype, even without publicity, is here. The movie 3, directed by Aishwarya Dhanush, and starring Dhanush and Shruti Hassan in lead roles, portrays love in three different phases of life - school love, which is thoroughly enjoyable and entertaining; college love, which is realistic, and love after marriage.
